We have to reduce excess atmospheric CO2 on a massive scale​

It is not enough to reduce/stop new emissions

The sheer scale needed imposes important constraints​

The space needed to store the CO2 is immense; It cannot be transported far etc.

There must be value creation, not only cost​

If it's just about cost, then it's at the whim of government policies

Value creation must occur independently of what others do​

To avoid “tragedy of the commons” effects
